So imagine when about 99% of the people around you do everything to frustrate and prevent you from being obedient to the word of God. Such was Jeremiah's case.  He was under constant scorch of hate from men, mostly the very people he served with God's message and warnings for their own good.   One of the fastest ways to know that you're progressing is through changes in your thought patterns. You begin to question things you've once accepted.   My purpose-driven scripture has always been Prov. 22:29, "seeth though a man diligent in his business, he shall stand before kings and not common men."   This scripture has always made me know that irrespective of your religion, the principle is the same. The cap goes where it fits- he who puts in the work.   Hence, the need to persist rightly!   There came a time when that wasn't my driving force anymore. While going through that scripture, I paused to ask myself, "who are the kings? How many heads do they have? Why do I need to stand before them? Why not, I become the king?"   At first, it was a puzzle but now a great deal. A deal that guides my planning and execution (ing) for/in 2022. Such a great year it "was!" ….
