The Two Non-Negotiable Skills

I have always believed that if a thing can be learnt and mastered by anyone, then, I shouldn't give an excuse not to learn.⁣

⁣

This should be the mindset of every young adult who envisions a life of greatness in this era.⁣

⁣

⁣

Don't be among those saying "English is a borrowed language, it doesn't pay bills, etc." Yes, it's a borrowed language yet you can't write or speak to a mixed audience without it.⁣

⁣

⁣

Imagine if I were writing to you in my vernacular, how would you have felt? She's writing only to her village people, I guess.⁣

⁣

⁣

Imagine if you are finally called for that interview and you use your dialect to answer questions from people who don't understand you🤔⁣

⁣

Communication requires social intelligibility. Social intelligibility is the ability to speak and be heard and readily understood by anyone, anywhere irrespective of your nationality, village, etc.⁣

⁣

You see! Two skills are non-negotiable if you desire to go beyond the borders of your Jerusalem (home-village).⁣

⁣

⁣

Of course, you should desire that. The instruction is Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Your gifts are not only for your village people, honey.⁣

⁣

It's okay to start local but if you must go global, put on the whole armour that sets one on a global stage.⁣

⁣

⁣

Writing and speaking well should be your interest. Except you don't want to thrive and that's fine. My message always is to those with a forward-thinking mind and a desire for the top.⁣

⁣

Arm yourself with relevant skills. Especially the two non-negotiable skills: Writing and Speaking.⁣

⁣

There's a message in everyone ready to gain global expression but you must spread it with your voice and pen. The TWO!⁣

⁣

Say 'NO', to excuses!⁣

If anything can be learnt, learn it, my dear!⁣

⁣

Your fight is different!⁣
