Our God Is Able!

When Lazarus died and was buried for 4 days, he was already probably stinking. His sisters had lost hope. It was humanly impossible to bring back to life someone who had started decaying but when Jesus showed up, He spoke and Lazarus who was long dead came back to life.⁣

⁣

To put it into proper perspective, this is what I was able to gather as regards what happens to the human body after death in the first 4 days.⁣

⁣

⁣

"24-72 hours after death — the internal organs decompose.⁣

⁣

3-5 days after death — the body starts to bloat and blood-containing foam leaks from the mouth and nose." aftermath.com⁣

⁣

Remember, Lazarus was tied and put in a tomb and his body may have decayed faster as higher temperatures increase the rate of decomposition (sorry if you don't understand this😁)⁣

⁣

Now, these are the physical processes that Lazarus' body had gone through. Talk of the spiritual, he may even have been judged because we are told that judgement comes right after death.⁣

⁣

Jesus DEFIED ALL SCIENTIFIC AND SPIRITUAL LAWS TO BRING LAZARUS BACK TO LIFE.⁣

⁣

⁣

Now, if Jesus could raise a dead, decaying probably stinking body back to life, He still has the ability to change that hopeless situation around for good.⁣

⁣

If He could change something scientifically and physically impossible, how much more things of the spirit? How much more mere situations?⁣

⁣

⁣

There are some situations that have made us to lose hope completely because we think that things can never get better again.⁣

⁣

⁣

Lazarus in our case may be our dreams, visions, finances, relationships, businesses or anything that we have lost hope in. It may even be we ourselves...having given up on ourselves.⁣

⁣

⁣

If Jesus could raise a man who had been dead and buried for four whole days, is it your seemingly impossible situation that He cannot change?⁣

⁣

⁣

Jesus is still able to breathe life into that dead situation.⁣

He can still turn those darkest nights into the brightest of days.⁣

⁣

⁣

"These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”⁣

You think your situation is dead?⁣

IT IS ONLY SLEEPING and Jesus is coming to wake it up!⁣

⁣

"21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.⁣

22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”⁣

⁣

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”⁣

⁣

Your dead situation will rise again and even better!⁣

⁣

"37 And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?”⁣

⁣

⁣

They thought Jesus could only prevent death.⁣

They did not know that Jesus is the Resurrection and Life.⁣

Are you wondering why Jesus did not prevent that tragedy from befalling you?⁣

⁣

"43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”⁣

44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”⁣

⁣

I want you to understand that JESUS IS CAPABLE OF RESURRECTING EVERYTHING THAT IS DEAD IN YOUR LIFE.⁣

JESUS IS ABLE!⁣

HE IS ABLE!⁣

OUR GOD IS ABLE!⁣

⁣

⁣

Do you hear His voice crying out to your situation to COME FORTH!!!!??????⁣

I thank You, Jesus because I know that as many that come in contact with this article will leap for joy to the glory of Your holy name alone.⁣
