Bear The Yoke

 

📖Lamentation 3:27-33.

A yoke is a wooden bar or frame by which two draft animals are joined at the heads or necks for working toy. 

It can also mean the state of being an enslaved person. For the purpose of this submission, we will define a Yoke as a process or tool used by God to train, transform and present an individual to the world and His kingdom who will solely serve the purpose of God at all times. 

Such a person only seeks the glory of God and not necessarily the applause of men.

Dear Young Adult, you were created to bring glory to God and serve His purpose for your generation- Revelation 4:11.

For God to use you in fulfilling His purpose, you will be subjected to some process which will require that you relinquish your selfish and ungodly plans to embrace the will and desires of God. 

If this process becomes successful for God with you, then only can you manifest God and His glory to your world and generation (lamentation 3:27-33). 

The yoke has a season in which you can bear - your youth. As you accept the dealing of God through the yoke, Christ invites you to now exchange for His - Matthew 11:29. 

It is only when you’ve successfully borne your yoke can you be an envoy for God to win many for Him and express Him to your generation.  

You must therefore take note of the following:

📍Remember your Creator - Ecclesiastes 12:1

📍Learn obedience - Isaiah 1:19; Philippians 2:8

📍Live a consecrated life - Genesis 39:6-10

📍Attempt great things for God - Acts 15:26; Galatians 4:18

📍Judgement awaits everyone- 2 Corinthian 5:10; Hebrews 9:27

📍Be prayerful- James 5:16,17; Daniel 6:10

📍God will bless you for bearing the yoke - Hebrews 6:10; 2 Timothy 2:11,12.
