7 Disciplines You Shouldn't Joke With!

I am Prince and with my few years of experience in life, I have come to know that everyone has enormous potential to be great and do well in any field, but the top remains scanty while the ground is crowded because only a few pay the price for success.

Discipline, to me, Sylvester, is one of the greatest tools of highly successful people and there are disciplines you must develop if you want to achieve all that you envision.

Today, we will be sharing with you 7 disciplines you shouldn't joke with.

1. Goal Setting.

Every morning, week or month, get a spiral notebook and take out time to write out your top goals. Writing out your goals activates your mental powers, stimulates your mind and makes you more alert on a specific course.

Don't just have them on your head, there's something about beholding them, daily.

2. Planning and Organising.

Take a few minutes, preferably the night before, to plan out every activity of the coming day. Always think on paper and work from a list.

Don't see a new day, wondering what to do.

You can easily be tossed to and fro when you have no specific direction.

3. Set Priorities.

Your ability to set proper priorities will help your time management, personal management, and life management.

Learning to focus on your most important task will contribute massively to your success. Stop doing too many things at the same time and focus on your Highest-Value Activities.

4. Exercise and Proper Nutrition.

Health is wealth isn't a cliche, dear Young Adult.

Your health is more important than anything else. Try to exercise regularly, eat carefully, and rest when it's needed. Health and fitness play a major role in purpose fulfilment.

Don't work without resting, etc., only to break down when it's time to reap your harvest.

Health is key!

5. Learning and Growing.

"Reading is to the mind, what exercise is to the body" ~ Joseph Addison.

This depicts that by exercise, health is preserved, and by reading, the mind is developed, trained and reprogrammed for success in the direction you want.

So, you see! Continuous learning is the minimum requirement for success in any sphere of influence.

Don't be too satisfied with what you know, dig deeper and open your mind to let go of some ideologies you've held so dear that may not be relevant to your growth.

It's okay to learn today and unlearn it tomorrow.

Let growth gain expression!

6. Make Time for Important People in your Life.

Oh, I Prince, was guilty of this until I consciously made some adjustments. Trust me, building relevant relationships is everything. Where competence fails, relationship (connection) will speak for you.

Be sure that in climbing the ladder of success, you don't lean against the wrong building. Intentionally get into relevant circles and be sure honour is treasured. At this point in your life, you shouldn't suffer "SEE FINISH SYNDROME."

7. Take Action!

You've read, paid for courses, bought that book, attended that conference and learnt those strategies but the execution is the problem.

One reason people feel so unfulfilled is that they know too much about the level they are at and should have grown past it if they had taken action on all they've learnt.

To me, Sylvester, an unserious person writes what he can't read and reads what he can't practice. Why waste your time?

One day, you'll wake up to realise that you can't run speedily as you did some years ago. Time is ticking and you should make every minute of your life count.

You won't be young forever.

Be wise and skilled.
